Car2Rent is an online vehicle rental discovery and enquiry platform that helps users explore vehicle options and connect with vehicle owners, drivers or other relevant service partners.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement, Car2Rent acts as a platform for receiving and facilitating enquiries. A vehicle listing or enquiry submitted through our website does not by itself establish that Car2Rent owns, operates or directly supplies the listed vehicle.

2. Acceptance of Terms

5. Enquiries and Booking Confirmation

Submitting a booking enquiry through Car2Rent does not automatically create a confirmed booking or guarantee vehicle availability.

A booking should be treated as confirmed only after the relevant service provider has accepted the request and communicated the applicable booking details and confirmation.

Users are responsible for checking the pickup time, journey details, vehicle category, rental duration and all other agreed conditions directly with the service provider.

6. Rental Prices, Payments and Additional Charges

Rental prices and other charges may vary depending on vehicle type, location, journey distance, rental duration, demand and service provider policies.

• Confirm the final rental amount before accepting a booking.
• Ask about advance payments, deposits and cancellation charges.
• Clarify tolls, parking, driver allowance, fuel and additional kilometre charges.
• Verify the identity and payment details of the person or provider receiving payment.
• Obtain a payment receipt or written confirmation wherever applicable.

Unless a specific payment arrangement is expressly communicated by Car2Rent in writing, payments and refunds are subject to the agreement between the user and the relevant service provider.

7. Independent Vehicle Owners and Driver Partners

Vehicle owners and driver partners may operate independently from Car2Rent. Their services, conduct, pricing, availability and contractual commitments may be governed by separate arrangements.

Users should verify the provider’s identity, service terms and relevant vehicle details before proceeding with a booking. Car2Rent does not guarantee the performance or conduct of an independent provider.

8. Vehicle Documents and Legal Compliance

Before commencing a journey, users should verify that the vehicle and driver meet applicable legal and safety requirements.

Depending on the vehicle and service, relevant documents may include:

• Valid Registration Certificate (RC).
• Applicable insurance and fitness certificate.
• Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate, where required.
• Required permits and authorisations.
• Valid driving licence and other legally required driver documents.

Vehicle owners and drivers are responsible for maintaining the documents and permissions required for their services.

9. Cancellations, Delays and Refunds

Cancellation, rescheduling, refund and delay policies may differ between vehicle owners and service providers.

Users should obtain the applicable cancellation and refund terms from the provider before confirming a booking or making a payment. Any refund obligation will depend on the agreed terms and applicable law.

Car2Rent does not promise a refund for payments made directly to an independent service provider unless Car2Rent has expressly accepted that responsibility in writing.

10. Prohibited Activities

You must not use Car2Rent to:

• Carry out unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive activities.
• Upload malicious code, viruses or harmful material.
• Attempt unauthorised access to our systems or user information.
• Copy, reproduce or commercially exploit website content without permission.
• Harass, threaten or misuse the contact details of other users or partners.
• Disrupt the website or interfere with its normal operation.
